First Graders Visit The Plant Science Center

This fall a group of local first graders toured the Daniel F. and Ada L. Rice Plant Conservation Science Center. Associate scientist, Pati Vitt, gave them a tour of the seed bank and answered their questions about plant science.

Planting Pointsettia Spheres for Wonderland Express

Go behind the scenes to see what it takes to put together the 10,000-square-foot Wonderland Express exhibition. Heather Sherwood, Senior Horticulturist, plants a six-foot poinsettia sphere to be displayed in the Temperate Greenhouse during the exhibition.
